| Welcome to our website. We are a thriving society based in the centre of Leeds. Most of our meetings are “manuscript evenings”, where members read their work to the group, and receive constructive feedback on all aspects of their piece. If this sounds daunting, don’t worry! Our aim is for a supportive forum in which we can share experience, support one another, and develop our skills. Writing is a solitary business: we hope to make it less so for writers of all kinds. We also hold competitions, workshops, and discussion groups throughout the year on all aspects of putting pen to paper. Our meetings are open to the public, so please come along and see what we do.
