The Circle's Aims

Leeds Writers' Circle exists to help all members reach their full potential as Writers.

Our Mission Statement:

Leeds Writers' Circle exists to help all members to reach their full potential as writers. Whatever your writing interest: be it; Fiction, Non Fiction, Horror, Romance, Humour, Thriller, Poetry or if you just enjoy listening to other people read, you'll find The Leeds Writers' Circle can cater for all. So come along and meet new friends.

Readings

All meetings will be held at The Carriageworks, Millennium Square, between 7 and 9 p.m. Most are manuscript readings with constructive feedback for those who read. There are also some 'Feature Evenings' with visiting speakers. Meetings usually start with a short session of announcements and general business. We try to meet fortnightly as far as possible - though public holidays sometimes upset the pattern. The programme is subject to change so it is best to check with the secretary if you've not attended before or for a while.
